Domaine Les Gonies
We are blessed to have the most phenomenal permaculture farm and a team of dedicated soil and produce lovers in our village. We try to source as much of our produce as possible from Les Gonies. During your stay, you will have the chance to visit the farm to understand the practice of permaculture farming. And you will also be able to buy some of their delicious, nutritious produce!
Ton and Mirella launched the small-scale organic farm in 2000. Then, in February 2022, they were joined by Tom and Linda, who now manage the market garden.
“We work according to the principles of Permaculture, mimicking Mother Nature as much as possible. In nature, you see a very diverse variety of living. We adopt the same approach with our vegetables, fruit trees, and livestock. They all play their role in the ecosystem. This system is all about feeding and nourishing the soil; the soil feeds the soil life, and the soil life feeds the plants. By doing so, the plant gets the maximum amount of nutrients it needs and the maximum nutrients you will find in your food. Or Tea?
We chose to work with Or Tea?, the boutique tea company, for two reasons. Firstly, because of the quality of their organic tea, and secondly, because of their ethical values. We love the ambition of the founder, Allen Wong and his team, and sincerely hope we can play a small part in their growth and success. From Hong Kong to Europe

We are animal lovers at Noble Isle – our products have never been tested on animals and never will. All our products are vegan, and we do not distribute or sell in China. Our products are free from parabens, Sodium Lauretha Sulphate and Sodium Lauryl Sulphate (SLS).
Environment Conscious
We are proud to say that our boxes and cartons are not laminated, making them 100% recyclable. Our bottles and caps are 100% recyclable. Borneo Wildlife Preservation
We are delighted to support the Borneo Wildlife Preservation and the amazing work that they do to ensure the survival of the Bornean Elephants as well as other endangered species.
Beyond the many local hands-on projects which focus on education and tree planting, Borneo Wildlife Preservation concentrates their energies on providing aid to all aspects of rehabilitation and care for any injured, displaced and orphaned elephants in Sabah Borneo.
They currently have less than 30 injured, displaced or orphaned elephants being cared for at various locations as there is not one place suitable for all elephants. For various reasons most of these elephants will not be released back into the rainforest.
The BWP encourages supporters to adopt an elephant which is in human care by making monthly donations.
