Whoever said ‘detox retreat’ and ‘luxury’ don’t go together has never stayed at Maison de Lunel!
Each of our spacious rooms boasts generous high ceilings and retains many of the original features. Our accommodation has been thoughtfully designed, with meticulous attention to detail, to make your stay as relaxing as possible. Natural hues and sublime fabrics lend themselves to the peace and tranquillity of each room and help ensure a restful night’s sleep. And wherever practicable, we source our furnishings and interior design accents from small businesses, local artisans and craftspeople. The emphasis is on high-quality products from makers around the world.
Incredible views
The apartment and guest bedrooms are decorated and appointed in a similar style. However, we differentiate between our Boutique and Deluxe accommodation solely based on the room size and their view.
Eight of the guest rooms are on the ground floor, with French doors and windows overlooking the pool and open countryside. Or with views across the courtyard gardens and towards the yoga barn. For incredible views, our fabulous first-floor, one-bedroom apartment – La Biche – has stunning dual-aspect outlooks across the whole property and the surrounding countryside.
Imagine waking up, throwing open the windows and taking in the sights, sounds and scents of nature; breathing in the brightness and your whole body feeling happy and light. Wouldn’t it be wonderful to start your day feeling alert and fresh? Don’t imagine it, do it – at Maison de Lunel.
And whilst we actively encourage relaxation at Maison de Lunel, we often have to remind guests that this is an experiential retreat to rejuvenate your mind and body. As such, guests do not tend to spend much time in the room during the day. Instead, they prefer to be outside, allowing the beauty and tranquillity of our surroundings to relax them both physically and mentally.
